As an Ethiopian, I feel disrespected when people erase the history of Christianity pre-colonialism. People think Christianity was created for the sole purpose of serving white supremacy & empire but that’s just not true.

especially within the context of african american religious discourse!!! christianity has a rich history in the middle east and ethiopia independent of european influence!!! christianity doesn’t belong to white people and it never has!!!
